		<description>I think that there is one reason that Google actually does have a shot for winning a significant share of the OS market.  They have the strongest cult following of any technology company that I can think of.  While it may be true that many of the people who are a part of this have already abandoned Windows already, it may be a strong force to pull significant market share away from Microsoft.</description>

		<description>I think it is much more likely that Microsoft would buy or partner with Disney, Time Warner, or Viacom then attempt a buy out of Google.  The problem with Google trying to build an OS really is standardization.  It is the same thing that his holding Mac back now.  Everyone knows how to use Windows.  Many people entering the professional world have used Windows since they were young children.

Google would have to create an OS that was far better, and far easier to use to take any large chunk from Microsoft.  The last OS to really try was OS2 Warp, but it was simply not a better OS so no one had a good reason to change.</description>
